TOON OF THE DAY: SHOTS FIRED!

By: Makaveli

The not-so-silent, not-so-subtle turf war between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) continues to rage, having become a bit fiercer since Nii Lante Vanderpuye got the nod to head the latter.
Apparently determined to crack down on some of the GFA’s supposedly ‘bad’ habits, the MoYS has landed one more jab, in a strongly-worded letter to Ghanaian football’s governing body, this time over the latter’s hesitance — nay, utter refusal — to inform it of recent national team friendlies.

KickerGH’s cartoonist, the inimitable Makaveli, dips his paint-brush into the latest development.
