TOON OF THE DAY: GHANA’S FLOATING SHIP STADIUM

By: Makaveli

Ghana’s Black Satellites emphatically trounced Ethiopia’s national U-20 side 4-0 (5-2 on aggregate) on Monday to move a step closer to next year’s continental finals in Zambia — but only a day later than scheduled.
The reason for the postponement from Sunday was, as isn’t too unusual to hear in Ghana these days, torrential rain that rendered the pitch at the freshly-inaugurated Cape Coast Sports Stadium practically unfit for any action.
KickerGH’s cartoonist, the inimitable Makaveli, captured the arena’s plight in vivid detail.
Enjoy!
